Her hair inherited the same highlights from her mother’s side, a rather subtle honey brown that had somehow managed to pop up amidst her dark brown locks. Upon a closer inspection, however, they take on a warm chestnut hue in daylight, scattering into specks of gold in the sun. She possesses the refined bone structure of an ancient pure-blood family, her features exquisite yet lack any sharpness. But most captivating are her greyish green eyes holding the silvery flecks of the Swann family line, irises reminiscent of the moon’s fleeting reflection in a rippling lake surface shrouded in mist.

Mental Description: Calypso has had the privilege of growing up within a loving family and hasn't experienced much sweat or toil in her life, and thus, those who observe her from afar would assume she views the world through rose colored glasses. Shielded from the misfortunes of life, her carefree presence leads most to believe she is entirely untouched by the world's malice. Yet the reports I have compiled on the forgone Swann heir warn you to not be deceived by this innocent facade. From a very young age, Calypso was accustomed to the bitter nature of pure-blood conflicts. She seeks a life free from conflict, desiring nothing more than to be an ordinary girl living a peaceful life. She adopted her mother's surname to conceal her Swann lineage, fearing the stigma of belonging to a family associated with Dark magic. To look at the Lovelace is to see someone entirely untainted by the bitterness in the world. There is an almost quixotic nature to her purity. Biography: The Swann Family

Swann Sr. (First Generation): A dark wizard during the Wizarding Wars; Calypso’s paternal grandfather. The main branch of the Swann family remained in Northern Europe (the Norwegian fjords), where they built an ancient ancestral estate protected by the Unplottable Charm, rendering it invisible on Muggle maps.

Father: Thayer Swann
Held views differing from his family, leading to a complete estrangement; he renounced his right to inherit the family estate and relocated to Britain.
Currently works as a restorer of ancient magical texts and runs an antiquarian bookshop (either from home or in Diagon Alley), living there with Calypso. He focuses on researching ancient magical literature and stays clear of political conflicts.

Mother: Maia Lovelace
A British pureblood witch; Skilled in healing magic and a former St Mungo’s Healer. She was proficient in physical healing but excelled particularly at soothing emotional and psychological trauma.
Fell in love with Thayer at first sight; they lived in the British countryside after marriage, where Calypso was born.

First Instance of Magic: It was a quiet afternoon in Thayer's bookshop when a stray speck of dust tickled the three-year-old's nose, causing her to sneeze. Instead of feeling quite disoriented, a dozen shimmering bubbles billowed out into the air, drifting serenely past the high shelves before popping into tiny showers of harmless lavender sparkles. This left her thoroughly bewildered. Much more so when her parents was prancing around in delight.
