Physical Description:
Simon is a thin eleven-year-old boy with pale complexion, light brown hair, and dark brown eyes. His hair tends to be messy most of the time, since he doesn't see the point of doing anything to make it neat. He has a quite typical, plain appearance and does not seek any special attention. His clothes are comfortable, and yet he is used to the traditional wizard robes. He often carries a book with him, though this is as much an excuse to have something to occupy himself with as it is a reflection of his interests.

Mental Description:
Simon is shy, quiet, and kind. He often feels at ease in quieter places, and becomes easily upset in groups of especially noisy or hyperactive children. He would rather find a quieter place and lose himself in a book than join the other children in playing. While he really likes to read, this is also his favourite way of escaping social situations without actually saying so.
Although Simon is shy, he is not antisocial. He likes to communicate with others, especially when they talk about something that interests him. The problem for him is learning how to behave socially. He can be somewhat oblivious to social cues, sometimes failing to notice when someone is bored, annoyed, or attempting to get his attention. He occasionally takes things literally and can miss jokes or hints that others consider obvious.

Biography: Simon grew up in England, in a pure-blooded wizarding family. Simon has spent his whole childhood there.
His family doesn't interacts with Muggles, which means that Simon has very limited knowledge about today’s Muggle society beyond what he has read about them.
Simon has always been a little quieter boy than others. Other boys at his age usually enjoyed running around, playing loudly and attracting all the attention to themselves, while Simon loved spending time in some quiet corner where he did not have to do anything. Reading was an easy way to kill time and he has become fond of it.

First Instance of Magic:
Simon first displayed accidental magic when he was seven. The young boy had been in the library of his home reading a book, while a kid who had come to visit their place kept disturbing him. When the child moved to take the book away from him, Simon got angry. Unbeknownst to Simon, some of the books on the shelves started to move around without his knowledge. One fell down unexpectedly to the floor, and others followed after that. The noise frightened everybody present there, and even Simon's parents went to see what was going on. Simon himself was unaware of anything until that moment.
