Physical Description: light-skinned, wavy (2C) medium-brown hair with precocious white and grey strands - from genetics - that is shaped like a moptop. About 5 feet tall. Rather big eyes and eyelashes for a guy, very skinny. Shows an unearthly and larger-than-life first impression, with slightly odd head movements and mannerisms and a flightly, absent-minded approach to self-presentation.

Mental Description: a talented slacker with an innocent and bubbly disposition to learn, but he's very inquisitive about the world's contradictions. Interested in philosophy, he wants to figure out a theology that explains why magic exists, as well as the purpose of the afterlife. He loves to experience all the good things in life, enjoying the tastes, touch, smells, sounds and visuals, effectively seizing the day. Very idealistic, at times too good for this world, in the sense he cares about things others find no problem with; that often makes him hard to relate to. Sometimes unwittingly skips or runs while thinking about exciting or concering things. Tries to keep his emotions under control and sanitize or double-check thought processes, but has obvious limitations considering his age and anxious upbringing.

Biography: a rather dim, impoverished childhood with no intelectual stimulation. A grey endless nightmare of boredom and paranoia, the neighbors lived a life of appearances and were suspicious of each other.

His parents owned a local grocery store and were involved in petty schemes to increase their profit, resulting in products of questionable precedence. The other branches in the family were far more successful and scorned their business, depriving Lucas' parents of financial help. As a result of those living conditions, they had no other children, and Lucas shared their shameful reputation as he wondered why his potential had to be capped by circumstances that weren't his fault.

Ever since he found out about his magical inheritage, he decided he would absorb as much of the wizarding world as possible in his next school years, seeing in his acceptance in Hogwarts a brand new life. His parents ultimately agreed he was destined for better things and let him go, although they were clearly offended, now left adrift to deal with their skeletons in the closet.

First Instance of Magic: he had a near-death experience at 10 after accidentally falling into a 20 feet trap hole during a school trip, only to be found the next day, when he floated out of it unharmed and went home as if nothing had happened, although he had to explain to his parents the following instances of involuntary magic.
