Physical Description: Julia's skin is tan from spending so much time outside and her face is dotted with freckles. Her hair is near black, reaches her waist, and is pin straight but rarely neat from ducking through bushes and climbing trees. She has dark brown eyes and, being eleven years old, doesn't wear makeup and is 4'6. She'll usually have scrapes on her knees and a cut on her face from thorns outside or falling, since she can't cast healing spells herself.

Mental Description: The main thing about Julia is that she loves nature. When she lived in the U.S., Julia had backyard animals whom she adopted as her own and a garden where she could take care of her favorite plants.

Julia's also intelligent. She aced her tests in the Muggle school her father insisted she attend, and because her parents both considered education, whether that be muggle or magical, important, Julia learned to value her schoolwork, too. She enjoys reading muggle books, especially the adventure and mystery ones. She's also a bit of a loner. Being smart often means being ignored in school, or treated as nothing more than an answer sheet. This caused her to sometimes downplay her intelligence in order to make friends. Additionally, Julia loves to laugh, dedicates all her time to things she finds interesting, and when she makes a friend who appreciates her for who she is, she won't ever let them go.

Biography: Julia now lives in Central London, but she only moved to the UK at eight years old. She grew up thinking she'd attend Ilvermorny School of Magic in the United States but she had to leave her suburban town in Connecticut because her father, who works for a muggle company, was promoted and needed to live in London for his job. Julia's mother, a witch, works as a Healer and got a job at St. Mungo's after moving. Julia was disappointed to leave the house she grew up in, with the backyard she spent all her time in, but she was especially disappointed to live in an urban neighborhood. Would there even be nature? The squirrels and deer she grew up watching?

Despite her reluctance to leave her hometown, Julia quickly adapted in London. She made friends in her Muggle school quicker than she was used to, the children being curious about her background and odd accent, and she discovered that there were, in fact creatures in England, too! She became especially fond of her neighbor's niffler, who often snuck into her parents' bedroom to snatch her mother's jewelry.

First Instance of Accidental Magic: Julia's first instance of accidental magic came about during muggle school in London at the age of eight, fairly late for a witch. When she answered a question wrong during Maths, one boy in the back made a comment about her being a "stupid Yankee." Suddenly, the fire sprinkler on the ceiling turned on, but all the water was aimed directly at the group of boys laughing at her. She remembers that during recess that day, all her classmates (but her) were pulled aside by teachers she'd never seen before, and after that, they never mentioned the instance again, seemingly having forgotten it. She almost asked her mother what happened, but decided she'd rather be confused than grounded. (The people pulling her classmates to the side were Aurors in disguise to Obliviate the muggles)
