Blake Rivers is an 11 year old, muggle-born from London. She was born August 28th 2015. Her mother died when she was only 2 and she never knew her father so she was raised in foster care. From being moved from home to home and never experiencing true love or stability, Blake became a very quiet, guarded, and reserved child. She is very independent and mature for her age as she knows how to take care of herself. She is also very resourceful, being able to make the most out of very little.

Due to the harsh realities of growing up in a broken system Blake has suffered in many ways. She is small for an 11 year old, being just over 4'2" and is small and skinny. She has golden blonde hair that goes just past her shoulder and hangs in waves. She also has dark green eyes, and a small nose that is littered with freckles under the sun. She has a scar that a foster parent caused, which is just a line through her left eyebrow.

Blake has always been quite smart despite the fact that she has had to go to 5 different schools over the past few years. She loves to read on her spare time and is always willing to challenge herself. She never even considered wizards and witches to exist until one day when she was 9-years old. A group of bullies were chasing her at recess through the snow slush. It was late February, so much of the snow was melting. As Blake was running, she ran through a big puddle that got her pants all went, a few moments later the bullies went to run through the same one but they all fell into each other and crashed into the ground. The small girl turned around to see that the puddle had suddenly turned to ice. She was smart and knew it wasn't a coincidence, but must have been something abnormal or super natural. Since then she had read many books on magic and the supernatural.
