Zelda Grimwood

Physical Description:
Zelda is a young witch with a curvy build, tanned skin, dark broen hair but dyed to maroon, and brown eyes. She normally wears simple black clothes that cover most of her body. She also wears round-glasses that tend to stand her out but she doesn't really care about looking fancy or getting attention so she wears whatever she feels comfortable in.

Mental Description:
Zelda is an introvert when first meeting someone new and can come across as a little distant but once she's comfortable and opens up to new people, she's talkative. She's also curious and likes learning new things despite not always asking questions. She usually observes people before trusting them. She can be stubborn and hates being told that she can't do something. She's not really the social kind but she's very loyal to the people she cares about and will help them whenever they need it.

Biography:
Zelda grew up with her parents in a small wizarding home filled with books. Her father was interested in magical history and creatures (hence explains why Zelda love magical creatures) while her mother is careful when it comes to magic. Zelda spends most of her childhood reading, exploring, and of course getting into things she probably wasn't supposed to. (typical stubborn girl) Growing up being an only child, she tends to be lonely but she finds peace in solitude.

First Instance of Magic:
It is summer 2024. Zelda and her family are in London visiting relatives. Zelda, who is ten is playing hide-and-seek with cousins when one cousin startles Zelda and she accidentally slams a door shut with magic. Her parents are also startled when the door slams. Instead of anger, her parents quickly check on her to make sure she is okay. When her parents see that she is unharmed, her mother gently reassures her that accidental magic is normal, for witches and wizards. Her father smiles triumphantly and tells Zelda that she should not be embarrassed or afraid of magic. Her parents motivate her to learn to manage magic of fearing it reminding her that everyone must learn. Zelda slowly relaxes, feeling relieved that her parents are not disappointed.
