Physical Description: Briar has very light blonde hair and bright blue eyes, she is always slightly tanned and has freckles. Briar will often dye strands of her hair pink, due to her wanting to be like her older sister who has bright pink hair. She has a small scar just above her lip after she fell off a chair when she was little, it wasn't healed as her family are muggles. She is quite tall for her age, 5,0 at 11.
Mental Description: Briar is bubbly and fun to be around, she always wants everyone to feel included and often prioritises others happiness over her own. She began to act out in primary school after her mother died but has been doing that less and less. Despite having lots of lovely friends, Briar prefers to be alone and will go for long walks around the beaches of Cornwall. She is very close with her sister , brother and father and helps out a lot around the house. Briar enjoys reading, dancing, and daydreaming. Briar started dance in wales when she was two and continued with ballet even after moving to England, she now does intermediate pointe twice a week. She used to think she was crazy because of all the weird things that happened to her, then she learnt about magic and everything began to make more sense.
Biography: Briar was born on feb 13th 2015. Her family lived in the quaint little seaside town of Criccieth, in wales until Briar was 6, they then moved Zennor in Cornwall. Briar's mother died when she was 8 due to labor complications. Briar has a sister named Marigold who is 5 years older, and a brother named Wilder who is 7.5 years younger. Briar's dad is single and works very hard to take care of his children but their house is still full of laughter and joy. Due to her whole family being muggles they have no knowledge of the magical world so Briar grew up learning about less important things such as maths. Briar and Marigold help their dad with tasks around the house, like looking after Wilder so they are a very tight knit family, they all love each other dearly and would accept each other no matter what. Briar's father often struggles with thinking he isn't doing well enough, not earning enough money, and Briar tends to notice, so she makes it her job to tell her dad at least once a day how much she appreciates him. Briar and Marigold share a room and will spend many nights looking at old picture of their mum and remembering tales, in an attempt to have stories to tell Wilder as he grows up.
Briar is the only one in the family to share her mum's blue eyes with the other three having variations of brown eyes. Marigold also has incredibly light hair, hers very curly, which she likes to dye bright colours, she likes to wear patterned and bright clothes because she thinks it bring more joy to her family. Wilder has wavy brown hair and Briar's dad claims it looks just like their mum's when she was younger.
Briar has lot of friends but there are two she regards best friends, Hazel and Rory, who she met in year 1 when she moved to Cornwall, the three of them are know as the troubles and often have very loud weekend sleepovers.
First Instance of Magic: The first time Briar did something magical, she was 4. Her and Marigold were playing in the Garden and Marigold did something to annoy Briar, Briar got very angry and a brick on the wall behind her ended up exploding.
