Physical Description: Maya has brown wavy hair and dark green eyes. Her height is just a bit taller compared to most 11 year olds.

Mental Description: Maya is friendly, curious, witty and funny. She likes magical sports, animals, music. Her hobbies include singing, writing, drawing and reading. Smart in her own ways she can spot a liar from afar. She is an extrovert who prefers to be around people. She also likes being creative and learning everything that catches her interest. She can be competitive at times.

Biography: She is a half-blood with wizard father and muggle mom. She also has an older witch sister who already gradutated as soon as Maya started Hogwarts. She usually gets along with her family pretty well. Growing up in a moderately witchy home with spells she always sensed she'd be a witch like her sister. She wants to make her family and herself proud by her achievements.

First Instance of Magic: Maya was 6 years old when she had her first instance of magic. Since she was born in a home with magic around during many times in her life, with both her father and her sister being magical, she wasn't so surprised but happy and excited. A few weeks before she started her (non-magical) school she randomly woke up with a ginger hair, meanwhile she was naturally a brunette! Her sister had noticed that and said it was a cool first instance of magic and hugged Maya. Maya liked having ginger hair but at the end of the day it was brown again.
