Physical Description: Bellus is a shorter girl for her age, sitting at 4'8ft at age 11, with very pale white skin that reflects her lack of outdoor exploration. Her hair is long and black, sitting at the small of her back with one white streak that grows from her hairline and is prominant in her straight across bangs, a trait that had been passed down to her from her father. Unlike her father however, she has hazel eyes that are freckled with a bright green and a coppery brown. Besides the streak of white in her hair, she is relatively uninteresting in her appearance, nothing really stands out. She usually sticks to wearing darker or neutral colors, finding comfort in greyscale, as she doesn't enjoy sticking out too much.

Mental Description: Bellus is a quieter child, she grew up as an only child and despite having very loving parents, she never really grew accustomed to socializing. She prefers to spend her free time reading, immersing herself in stories of old or learning about magic more. She is very detailed oriented and likes things to be a particular way and her room is organized very methodically, in her mind, everything has its own place.
Although she keeps to herself she really enjoys spending time with animals and grew up taking care of the various animals that her family had kept on their grounds. She has a gentle demeanor that animals tend to trust, and if they don't she has patience to sit and gain their trust over time. She loves to learn about the animals and write down their likes, dislikes and things she has discovered about the creatures in a journal her and her father started together.

Biography: Before Bellus went to Hogwarts, she lived in a manor with her mother, her father and her house elf Pickity. She is very close with all the house members, her mother and her would read stories together cozied up next to the fire as well as walk around the grounds of their home. Her father and her would find critters and draw the animals in her journal, he'd also bring her back trinkets from his travels and teach her about the places he'd encounter when working. Often times though, her mother and father would have to leave Bellus and Pickity alone as they had important Ministry business to attend to, so the girl and the elf would spend time together. She would help Pickity tidy up despite the elf's unwillingness, and Pickity would allow Bellus to read to him. Besides the members of her house, Bellus never gained any friends but this wasn't due to a lack of trying on her parents part. Countless times they would take her out and introduce her to new children but she never really enjoyed the company.

First Instance of Magic: Bellus's first instance of magic occurred when she was 6, she and her father were sitting out in the garden, he was humming a soft song to her and drawing the flora and fauna around the two. She was looking at the world around her when she noticed a small niffler climbing up a tree a few feet away, she giggled to herself as it climbed higher and higher but her heart slowly stopped. The cute creature was perched on a branch when suddenly a big bird swooped by, knocking it from the branch, she cried out and before the creature plummeted to its demise, she squeezed her eyes shut, expecting to hear a small thud only for the noise to never come. Opening her eyes wearily she watched as the niffler gently glided down to the ground, before it suddenly scurried off. Her father watched it all happen and immediately started to write to his wife who was away on duty.
