Physical Description: Josephine is a rather normal looking girl with black hair and green eyes. Her parents wont allow her to cut her hair short at the moment so normally she wears it up in a little bun on top of her head and straight cut bangs.
Mental Description: Until you get to know her, Jo is rather quiet. She will speak when spoken too and add in little additives here and there about her life but may come off a little awkward, that is until you get to know her. Then the poor girl doesnt know when to stop sometimes. With her friends she becomes a little overly loud and enjoys talking about her favorite things this week or her friends interests.
She means very well and will calm down when asked being a little embarrassed. She does however enjoy her quiet and alone time, preferring to read her book quietly or just explore new places.
Biography: Her parents are both wizards, her father coming from a more prominent family whilst her mother is a muggleborn. So, Jo lived her life in the wizarding world outside of visiting her grandparents.
Her fathers side of the family didnt seem to care for her mother much but adored and spoiled Jo when she was around especially when she had her first little accidental magic. They went a little overboard as if they were trying to keep her stuck in the magic world then exploring what the muggle world had to offer which Jo didnt mind much to her mothers displeasure.
Her grandparents raised crups and a few other magical creatures that got Josephine interested in magical creatures and her fixation on dragons. (Not that they owned dragons no matter how much she begged.) While there was a little tension between them and her mother the family did love each other and little Jo and just wanted the best for her so she had a rather nice peaceful life and looked forward to exploring Hogwarts.
First Instance of Magic: When Josephine was young about 3 or so she had a bad habit of not listening to her parents or grandparents about not getting in the Crup's faces or picking them up. As most dogs they tend to be a little tolerant of kids but only to a certain point and she had harassed this poor dog pulling on his tail or just wanting to pet him and he had whipped around to snap at her in warning. Not that she knew it of course, so she screamed and the dog turned into balloon and flew around the room before returning to normal.
While they were excited their daughter showed magic for the first time, her celebration was short lived and little Jo was put in time out and that particular Crup avoided her like the plague. (And he still does.)
