Physical Description: I am tall and slim, have brown hair and a few freckles. My nose is long and prominent and my features are sharp and angular which makes me look rather serious.

Mental Description: I am quiet and private, liking to be on my own. I am attentive and reflective. The friendships I have are not many but are very close. I keep most of my thoughts and feelings to myself. Even though I am reserved, I am loyal to my friends.

Biography: I was one of six in a small family and we were always rather poor (My mother is a Muggle bookkeeper and my father is part of a Magical Creature conservation group) so I was taught from an early age not to ask for anything that our family couldn't afford. I shared a bedroom with my brother and this taught me to appreciate privacy even though I had very little. My childhood was fairly quiet and, during my free time, which I mostly spent outdoors, either exploring the neighbourhood near my house or working on little projects by myself. I was born and raised in Ottery St Catchpole. OR OTTERY ST MARY WHICH WAS WHERE THIS FICTIONAL TOWN WAS BASED OFF…?

First Instance of Magic: The first time I experienced magic was when I was constructing a treehouse with my brother at the age of 7. We had taken several days to put it together, carefully tying the branches and bits of old wood together to make a small platform situated a good height above the ground. One afternoon, as we were climbing up on the thing, I placed my weight on a big, dead branch and there was a loud crack and I fell.
For a moment I thought that I was going to strike the ground; I had enough time to watch the earth come towards me and to realise that there was nothing I could hold onto. Suddenly, my descent started to slow down and I began to drift gently towards the ground, it felt as if I were moving through warm water and I came to rest softly on my back without being in the slightest bit hurt.
