My name is Rose Dove. I am almost 5 feet tall. I have brown hair and brown eyes. I wear glasses sometimes to see things that are far away.

I was a pretty happy child growing up. I have two brothers. They always treated me nicely because I am the youngest of the 3 of us. I am looking forward to learning magic in a more academic setting. I hope to make a lot of new friends.

My parents were surprised to learn that I am a witch. They had no idea that the magical world existed. I was always curious about the world around me so when strange things happened sometimes, I just observed and marveled at it all. As I said before, I have 2 brothers who are both older than me. We all live in the same house together. One of my brothers might be moving out soon because he is getting married.

My first instance of accidental magic was when I was about 4 years old, I think. I was playing with my brothers outside and I saw a pretty butterfly. It was flying away from us and I wanted to take a closer look at it and suddenly it was on my hand. My parents didn't believe me when I told them. Then the butterfly refused to fly away again. We had to use my brothers' strength to get it off of me. Then my parents started questioning whether it had been a natural event or not. When I got my letter for Hogwarts, they were surprised to learn about the magical world's existence but it also made some other strange occurrences make more sense to them. I don't remember them all but I do look forward to learning more about magic and how to use it properly.
