Aurora is a Welsh Muggle-born that moved to Cambridge, England at a very young age. Her mother works as a college professor and her father owns a bakery, however, her parents are divorced, so instead Aurora sees her mother on the weekends and lives with her father during the week. While at her father's Aurora enjoys helping out at his bakery, know as "The Cherry On Top" as well as practice ballet. While Aurora is at her mothers she likes to read books, learn random facts, and on the rare occasion her mother isn't working, go horseback riding.
Aurora's first case of accidental magic was when she was 2 years old and could not reach her sippy cup. According to her parents, she just "zapped it into her hands!", many other incidents like this continued to happen, such as turning a toy blue or causing a book to float, however the most memorable moment was when she was in 3rd grade, and while another student was making fun of her at lunch, she caused his entire lunch to go straight into his face!
Aurora often has trouble keeping her emotions in check, and often blurts out whatever she is thinking. Aurora is very strong in her opinions and often has a hard time understanding other people's point of view. Aurora has Autism which she was diagnosed with when she was 6 yeas old, this means Aurora sometimes struggles to communicate, she has a very hard time handling bright lights, loud noises, certain smells, and doesn't like being touched very often. Due to Aurora's Autism, her parents were very nervous of letting her go to Hogwarts instead of staying in her school for disabled children, and hope that the professors there are understanding of her disability.
