Physical Description:
Ria is a typical, pretty girl of her age. She's of average height, slender, with fair skin and a light scattering of freckles. Her hair is dark, curly, and unruly—her mother tried to tame it with ponytails and braids, but eventually, her parents simply resigned themselves to it. She has curious, ever-searching eyes, the color of a stormy sky. She delights in wizarding clothes, but sometimes wears comfortable Muggle clothes: jeans, sweaters, and hoodies.

Mental Description:
Ria is a child of nature. Growing up on the coast, she's always drawn to everything new and unexplored. She may be a bit introverted and doesn't make friends easily,, but this doesn't bother her at all. Ria is quite comfortable alone or in the company of a few close friends. She is naturally curious. She can spend hours wandering the old city streets, along the seashore, or in the woods, simply observing everything around her. She can stop in the middle of the road to examine a bug, making everyone else wait. She is resourceful and naturally inventive, often coming up with simple solutions where others might overlook them.

Biography:
Her parents named her Maria at birth, but from childhood, everyone at home called her Ria.
Ria was born in the spring in Galway. Her mother was a half-blood witch, while her father was a Muggle. Her family lived near the sea, and walks along the coast quickly became part of her daily life. Her childhood was happy and peaceful, and the home was always cozy. Her mother often used magic to help around the house, so books would turn the pages of their own accord or fly from the shelf to the table. The scent of fresh coffee, books, and flowers was almost always present.
Her parents owned a small bookshop and café. While customers chatted or chose books, Ria would often sit with a sketchbook or read something new.
After the store closed, the family often went for walks by the sea. Ria loved holding her parents' hands and was constantly distracted by something interesting—a beautiful stone, an unusual shell, a bird. Because of this, an ordinary walk almost always took much longer than planned.
Ria loved to draw. Her sketchbooks most often featured shells, birds, flowers, and seascapes. She also enjoyed reading and listening to stories from customers at the café. These stories often helped her imagine places she'd never been to.
When her letter from Hogwarts arrived, Ria could hardly believe it. She had listened to her mother's stories about the wizarding world for years, and now she was about to become a part of it.

First Instance of Magic:
When Ria was eight years old, she and her parents went for a walk by the sea. Her parents stood nearby while Ria collected beautiful pebbles and shells. One of them caught her eye—smooth, bluish-green... For some reason, it immediately struck her as special.
As they were getting ready to leave, Ria noticed the pebble was missing. She looked for it for a while but eventually gave up. Her parents called that it was time to go, and she brushed the sand from her knees. With a sigh, she took a few reluctant steps after them before glancing back one last time.
She sighed and looked one last time at the ground before turning away. At that moment, a gust of wind swept across the beach, sending loose shells and pebbles skittering across the sand. One smooth bluish-green pebble came to rest beside her shoe.
Ria laughed, picked it up, and decided she had simply been lucky. She showed it to her mother with a wide smile. Only her parents exchanged a surprised glance, realizing what had really happened.
