Physical Description:
Morgan is a rather thin young man, standing at about 140 cm, with a slightly more square face and dark green, slightly blue, eyes. He has short, black hair that usually covers his forehead and almost reaches his eyes, if he remembers to brush it and not have it be a mess than it's a miracle some days. He's rather pale despite how much time he spends outdoors. never quite able able to keep a tan and much more likely for his face to go more pink when out in the sun. He does, however, have a number of freckles across his nose and cheeks, as well as his arms. He has a tendency to wear slightly baggy t-shirts or button ups, usually in darker colors alongside a pair of jeans or whatever he pulled out of the closest that day. He can also usually be found with a jacket or hoodie of some kind, even on warmer days.
Mental Description:
Morgan is somewhat of an ambivert, although, possibly more in the introverted side of being an ambivert. He usually keeps to himself, preferring to be outside reading or sometimes studying. People usually tend to find him a little stand-offish and possibly odd depending as he's a bit monotone and a little expressionless when first meeting people but, if people take the time to know him, he can be pretty talkative and expressive, it just takes him a bit of time to warm-up and he needs some time to recharge his social batteries.
He's always been a bit of a bookworm, almost always found with some kind of book or comic either reading or studying which means he usually does fairly alright in school. When he isn't reading or studying, however, he enjoys being outdoors, tending to get a bit claustrophobic if he is constantly indoors for a few days. He enjoys collecting little things like flowers, leaves, and rocks in which he does keep a small journal for pressed flowers and leaves.
Morgan is perhaps a bit odd at first but he can be rather sweet and caring, always trying his best and just taking life one day at a time.
Biography:
Morgan Faughn was born in Swansea, Wales to Elliot and Ciara Faughn on October 23rd, 2014. He has three siblings, his oldest brother Adrian and his two older sisters Mari and Gwen, making him the youngest child. He grew up in a small house that had just enough room to fit the six of them so it was a little cramped sometimes but it was always a place of warmth and love and he has always been close to his family, especially his sisters. His brother was quite a bit older than him so as he grew up he saw less of his brother but his brother still took time to try and be around him. His parents were always good to him, albeit a bit busy due to their jobs sometimes, his father being a school teacher and his mother as a nurse. That being said, his family was and is very caring and rather close which made for a fairly nice childhood.
In school, he was a good students and did well in his classes but he always had a bit of a hard time connecting with others, not necessarily disliked but not particularly having any close friends as he just struggled a bit socially. It's perhaps why he was always so close with his sisters as they both always tried to include Morgan and always did their best to understand their slightly odd little brother. Of course, Morgan never minded being on his own and would often spend his time out in the backyard laying in the grass or sitting in a tree reading by himself to spend his time.
Overall, he had a fairly good childhood.
First Instance of Magic:
Morgan's first instance of magic was when he was eight years old after a particularly rough day at school. He was upset because it had just been one bad thing after another as he had tripped at school and broken a small project he had worked very hard on, the trip causing a few classmates to have laughed and pointed as some school children do and also causing him to receive a rather harsh grade as the project ended up losing quite a bit of what was needed. On top of that, he had dropped his little keepsake journal in a puddle on his way home and many of the pages were completely ruined.
Frustrated, he got home and went straight to his room tossing his ruined journal on his bed and trying to dry and fix the pages but to no avail. At the time, emotions were high as he was frustrated but also sad as his little collection journal that he worked so hard on was falling apart. Believing there was no fix, he sat on the floor against his bed on the verge of tears as his frustrations threatened to poor out when he thought he heard the sound of pages flipping. Confused, he looked back to were he had set his journal on the bed and found it open but the pages were dried and the keepsakes were fine, almost as though nothing had happened although the outside of the journal was still a little rough everything inside was now completely salvageable and alright. Of course, being an eight year old who witnessed such a thing eagerly rushed to show his mother who simply believed that perhaps Morgan had just overestimated how damaged the journal had been and simply just smiled and patted her son's head at the time despite her son's insistence to which, Morgan himself even believed for a time maybe he had just been so frustrated that the journal hadn't actually been damaged as badly as he had thought. Of course, eventually he would learn that that was not the case but that would come later.
