Physical Description: I have wavy black hair, blue eyes and quite a few freckles across my nose. I am 4 feet 9 inches tall. I am slim and usually have a smile on my face.
Mental Description: I really like learning and I am pretty intelligent, but sometimes I have a tendency to mess about and chat with my friends too much.
I also sometimes overthink situations and worry about things, but I'm not too good at telling people my worries and I internalise them.
Biography:

My biological parents split up when I was three years old. They argued for a long time over who should raise me, but eventually they realised neither of them could give me the safe and loving home I needed, so they made the difficult decision to put me up for adoption.
I am a pure-blood, so I have always been fully immersed in the wizarding world. From a young age, I got used to using magical things. In my house we have lots of enchanted furniture and stuff like that.
I now live with a half-blood wizarding family, who have a pair of twins called Olivia and George: they are two years younger than me. Mr and Mrs Clarkson are both farmers and work the land that we live on, although we do use magic where we can to keep the business going. I live a very happy life with the Clarkson family, and I love them all just like I would love my blood relatives.
We live deep in the English countryside, away from towns and surrounded by fields. We own some stables near our home, which are home to one horse for each member of the family. My horse is a black mare and her name is Flicka - after the movie and because she definitely is a beautiful horse. I am very sad that I will be unable to bring her to Hogwarts.
First Instance of Magic:
Once, when I was eight years old, I had fallen off Flicka. We had been cantering along the edge of the field, when she suddenly stopped. I flew over her head and landed with a big "thump."
I was bruised, embarrassed and convinced she had done it purpose. I stood up, brushed myself off and then turned to face my currently laughing horse. I stamped my foot to get her attention. "Why did you do that? We were having a perfectly nice ride." I had shouted at her. Flicka had reached out to me with her nose and let out a small laugh. I had been so annoyed with her that I had pushed her face roughly away from me. It was then that my first instance of magic happened. A shock wave went through me, into Flicka. A bright green light shone around her and her eyes glowed an iridescent red. She lifted a hoof and pawed the ground in front of her. I had taken a step back in alarm, and the moment my hands released contact with Flicka, everything went back to normal. The birds continued singing, the sun kept shining, Flicka was normal. It was as if nothing had happened.
