❝Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light..❞
APPEARANCE
Standing at 4'6, weighing at 64 pounds; Jamie is a chestnut-brown skinned young boy. He has hazel eyes. His hair is curly, to his shoulders and sometimes wild if he has not brushed it in a while. Physically, since he was a child, he has been mistaken for a girl before simply because of his androgynous features.
🕯
MENTALITY
For an 11-year-old, Jamie is unusually observant on many things, and he's quite perceptive of people's emotions, not all of course. He's had to grow up knowing when it was time to stop pushing. Naturally, though, since he is still a child, he does like to push sometimes for more information, he likes to pick out certain things he's noticed and make it known, no matter how blunt he sounds.

BACKSTORY
Well, Jamie's childhood and before he got his letter was quite mundane but, it was fun enough for him. He went to school normally, and felt a bit different from his peers, and he learned all he could from his teachers. He then learned a bit more about Hogwarts when his mother, a pureblood, sat down with him and begin to explain everything about magic. From the schools to the way magic works in people’s bloods, Jamie was enraptured by it all. Granted, his father—a muggle—couldn’t give much explanation but, he also went to Hogwarts with Jamie’s mom, but they both decided that growing up around muggleborns and halfbloods would be better than fully integrating Jamie into magical society right off the bat.
🕯
FIRST INCIDENT
This happened when he was quite young, around 5-6. He was sitting in-between his mother's legs upon the floor in the living-room, having his hair be done by her, and the comb she was using was badly irritating him. He truly always did hate that comb, and the more he thought about how much he hated it, the more his magical core pulsed. He was so tunnel-visioned that he and his mother jumped when a few books from the shelf near them came flying out and onto the floor. They landed with loud thumps. Little Jamie simply thought they had a ghost.
