Physical Description: asian, with long, smooth black hair down to their waist that they often like to braid. Round but small face, broad-ish shoulders with smaller hips. About average weight, maybe on the softer side. Qianyu is about 150 cm, taller than the rest. They have black eyes, pierced ears, and often wears many bracelets and necklaces. They often opt for a more formal attire than others, wearing collared shirts and neckties on a random day in the park (because they think it’s “cool”).
Mental Description: Qianyu is currently quite stable mentally, albeit very anxious, but not to a point to cause any harm to others or themselves. They are mostly content with how they are doing and are very excited to go to school and work hard. They do struggle to focus often and procrastinates a lot, but are working hard on it. Their gender identity was because they never felt connected to being a girl or a boy, simple as that.
Biography: Qianyu has two parents (alive) that treat them pretty well. Their parents were supportive of their decision of being non-binary, as well as most decisions like playing instruments. Being Chinese, they did face some racism growing up, but quickly shut them down. They have a few close friends that they talk to, mostly through letters. They are not close to their extended family, due to not being in the same country. Qianyu plays the violin and piano, as well as doodles and writes a lot. Growing up, they had two cats and one family owl that will stay at home. Qianyu and their family moved to London from China when they were about 6 years old, so their mother tongue is Chinese.
First Instance of Magic: When Qianyu spilled ink over their page while writing, they got very angry. In frustration, the ink bottle cap flew off the desk and slammed against the wall without them willing or touching it. This was when they first moved to London, at the age of 6. They were then extremely confused at how it happened and called for their parents, who then explained accidental magic to them.
