I’m Zala from Tewksbury , Massachusetts but we recently moved to Dublin Ireland, ever since I was little I have adored all fantasy and magic. I tried my best to keep hope that it was real, but every time I saw my mom do something that couldn’t be logically explained. She just said that I hadn’t drank enough water or I had watched too much anime. That was until the day my suspicions came true, we were on a trip to Scotland for my 10th birthday. We were starting to walk home from a stained glass castle tour and my mom was looking for a place for dinner since the sun was setting. But in one of the open plains I saw a fire fly, mom and dad had stopped to focus on what mom was trying to look up so I trailed off a bit to get closer to the firefly in the tall grass. But as soon as I took one step off the path it lit up beautiful floating lights around me that looked like lotus flowers, one of my favorites. Though they still dissipated with the firefly’s light. I always held it in my heart as one of the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, but now I’m told what truly happened, it was magic. So now I’m going to hogwarts dying my own hair white and it’s time to live the fantasy I’ve been dreaming of. Zala has originally brown hair, she is Dutch American (her great grandmother is Dutch, she is mostly American), 4 and a half feet tall with light blue eyes. She has OCD, ADHD, social anxiety and autism. Her mom used to bring up that she could do magic but everyone she told called her a freak except for some people at school in hogwarts, so she wanted to keep that out of muggle life. Zala is normally very cheerful and nerdy and loves making friends. She has a sister 2 years older than her named Kiki, a work at home mom who looks just like her, and a white and tan spotted cat named Delilah. They always go on amazing adventures every summer, mainly led by her dad, and have a nice middle class life. Though she does have a bit of a short fuse, it was mainly left behind in kindergarten but still bothers her from time to time. She’s not that great at making real friends but thinks of her classmates as them. But she hates being late or rushed and did a full 180 on how she was a couple years ago. Now being very meek and shy at times, (side note I hope this isn’t going to fall under sharing personal information, but her specific list of disorders are the ones I have in real life. I struggle with it now a lot but they didn’t bother me till middle school so that’s why Zala isn’t troubled by them.)
