Physical Description: A dark brunette with fair skin, Beth has deep green eyes which often appear a dark grey in dimly lit rooms. She wears a fare complexion which is interrupted only by freckles under her eyes and along her arms. She has always been of shorter stature than her peers, but not enough to be deemed short.
Mental Description: A kind and focused girl, due to high expectations from herself and her family she often seems more focused on success than experience. Fiercely loyal to her friends, though also never unkind to those she doesn’t know. She strongly believes kindness is the most important thing.
Biography: Beth, or as she’s formally known, Elizabeth Mondrich Lennox. Mondrich was the name carried by every member of her family, stemming back to her great-great-something in law; the first Lennox to lead the family into wealth. Living in a secluded area of London, Beth’s friends were those from the surrounding wizarding families. She has only one younger brother - Arthur Lennox. Her mother can often feel overbearing and her father only absorbed in his work at the ministry, though an important job was not so in demand due to generational wealth. What matters the most is that she comes from a loving family of four, plus the mail oil, but love can often seem one sided with that old thing.
First Instance of Magic: The warm summers evening was drawing to a close, Beth’s parents were hosting a wizarding family dinner on their estate; the children seemed far more interested in playing outside. “Kids! Supper!” The call came from the house across the field. Scattered throughout the largest oak tree was half a dozen 7 to 10 year olds, “Bet ya I make it back to the house first-“ a girl Beth couldn’t quite recognise declared as they attempted to descend the climb. “Not a chance!” The boy next to her roared as they leapt from one branch to another, “Careful or you’ll knock us all down” declared another as Beth looked up only in time to see the boot that met her face. She begun to tumble 20 feet to the grass below, a squeal sounded above her but Beth only clutched her eyes shut. Down. Down. Down. Spreading her arms wide, Beth knew it was going to hurt; she just didn’t know how much.
…
Any second now.
Her stomach seemed to turn as inertia washed over her, bringing her fall to an abrupt stop only half a metre from the floor. “Merlin’s beard, what is she doing?!” The boy exclaimed from above, Beth opened her eyes wide and pulled back in surprise and fear. The slight change sent her to the floor, landing harshly on the plush grass. “What was that?” The bold boy called from above. “I don’t know…” Beth mumbled, looking down at her unchanged hands, “I really don’t know-“
