Atticus is a small young boy standing at the right of 4’10. His skin a caramel like tan, Greyish green eyes and messy curly dark brown hair. He has slight beauty marks on his face along with a scar printed on his cheek during childhood that resembles the Serpens caput. His eyes are often in a tired looked shape, but they are filled with wonders and joy in his gaze. He wears Casual clothes, though due to his size the clothes look very big or baggy on him. So you’ll often see him with his shirt tucked in or pants cuffed up

Mental Description:

Atticus is more of a person who likes to keep to himself sometimes when he’s alone, never snarky, taking accountability, trusting,. Though, he likes to try and open himself or be engaging towards people as much as he can so he can attempt to make friends even with him being an absolute nervous wreck most times. He’s honest with his words but also oblivious to the consequences that come after it. He is often quiet on most occasions, he likes to be in his own little world as it helps focus on his own surroundings without any distractions in his.

On most occasions he can he easily get motivated, he’s willing to make it up to people when things go wrong in order for himself to be forgiven. He rarely gets mad, nor lashes out, as he believes that being in a certain house shouldn’t define or force you to be a character that you don’t need to be. Bold words for a first a beginner first year.

Biography:

Atticus was born on August 15th, 2015 during a beautiful summer . A blessing for his parents, Erris Soltani and Raja Patel .. Who were absolutely joyed to have him come into this world full of life and peace. His life was already simple, but their family wasn’t fully complete until his younger brother Jakeem, came into the picture couple years later until by the time Atticus was two. By then.. His family as a whole was fully complete. Until the had to move of course, due to backlash from the Soltani family and a muggle being married into it.

Since the move, things had always went as smoothly so he never had an issue, he was enrolled in school at four but was still educated at home, as he wanted to bond further with sibling and stay close to his family as possible, their neighborhood was welcoming and kind—as if possibly anything could never go wrong… That was until the dark day when Atticus was only four years old.. He witnessed something heartbreaking. It was the evening, almost near dark where a heavy storm erupted.. Raja Patel, the mother of Atticus and his brother Jakeem were home alone while the father, Erris was out at work trying to get by for his family.

The mother read her boys a story just to ease their fear of the storm that startled them.. It eventually did its work, as the two boys were about to be sent to bed to sleep through the storm.. Something had happened, a break in had happened.. A cloaked figure, seething and frothing with absolute rage barged into the home. In the midst of the conflict, the stranger had attacked—throwing the slashing curse wildly which only managed to slice against Atticus' cheek in the process. His mother grabbed him and his brother, hiding them in a closet to further protect them. All Atticus could remember was his mother screams and a crying infant in his arms, along with a bloody scar printed on his cheek after the brutal loss of his mother. Then everything became a blur, as if his mind tried to removed the memory of his mother’s passing to try and cope.

The last thing he remembered was seeing his father bawling and wail, holding his boys tightly into his arms while the paramedics tended to his wound. Everything became a blur once more, as change was so sudden, and hard to get used to. The boys were eventually and unintentionally forced to live a “normal” life which was already hard enough. Atticus was picked on for his small look, his ugly scar, everything about him didn’t seem normal. Their father was trying to help them fit in, even though he was barely functioning well enough to take care of his boys. He wanted to try and get away from magic but it’s like it still followed them wherever they went.

It came to the point Erris had to tell Atticus everything, and give him a choice without exposing so much about his own current past to his son. So the day Atticus turned 11, is when the letter came.. After a deep read and explanation with how special was.. This was enough to remove some of the relief off of the boys shoulders as he was going to experience something different

Extended part in his father’s side of the family:

The Soltani family has been a long line of purebloods for generations, with a fortune that could buy their way to fame, businesses and millions, especially with their work within the ministry—being plastered through the prophet to make their name known to the magical world. You could already assume that they are *those* type of purebloods, who think any other type of blood is inferior to them and that magical blood should only stay pure and only pure.
Any sign of disloyalty or betrayal, a member of the family will be considered disowned and cut off as they don’t want this to affect their reputation. An example is one of the sons of the family, Erris Soltani (Or Ilias)—son of Adonis Soltani who was considered to be a traitor to the family name due to wedding with a muggle and having children of tainted blood. There were other main reasons why Erris was casted out, along with being an affair child between his father and another pureblooded woman. And with the fact that Erris settled down with a muggle after his time at Hogwarts, thus his family claiming he and his wife created children with tainted blood. There are still remaining members who have their own family’s by extending the line to only pure blood, hoping to find a suitable heir in the future.

First Instance of Magic: At 9 years old, Atticus suffered bullying a lot because he was the new kid on the block at his school. He was often chased around or taunted because fragile he was. It came to a breaking point where Atticus’ magic took over, causing the light bulbs to break in a classroom and desks moving around due to he surrounded by his tormentors, and being extremely overwhelmed in that situation.
