Loretta Pemberton has a heart shaped face with freckles scattered on her face, with most of them landing on her pudgy cheeks. She has wavy dark brown hair that comes down to the middle of her back. Her eyes match her hair. Loretta's pale face and peachy lips wash her out in comparison to her hair & eyes. Not unsettling, but unfortunate.

Loretta is shy amongst classmates, but that doesn't mean she's not full of opinions. At every moment she's constantly feeling judged and judging others. Loretta acts nice to everyone because she wants to feel true friendship. She has major trust issues, and believes that everyone else is faking their kindness.

Loretta Pemberton is from a moderately well off pure-blood family in Coventry. She has an older brother, Maxwell, but he's always off gallivanting with his friends to form a proper sibling bond. Loretta has friends, Julia, Lilibet, and Norbert, but she is the closest to her mother, Roseanne. Roseanne and Loretta spend time walking around the estate, reading books together, and having fun. Loretta is not close to her father, he works at the Ministry and is never home that often.

Loretta Pemberton's first instance of accidental underaged wandless magic was when she tried to learn how to paint at the age of 6. Loretta showed her painting to her brother and he pointed out all of the flaws. She was so upset that the paper in her hands crumpled up and flew into the burning fireplace.
