Physical Description: Lorelei has always been short for her age, measuring approximately 130 cm tall. She has mousy brown hair and dull brown eyes. When she doesn't care enough to style her curly hair (a common occurrence) she defaults to plaiting it into two braids. She doesn't typically wear much jewelry, not presenting quite as feminine as the other girls in her dance classes. She has a ballerina's body, with noticeable muscle definition, but not enough to be considered stocky.

Mental Description: She is always observant, head on a swivel and thinking through situations (especially social ones) as she would a chess match, something with potential blunders, and a divisive outcome. In groups she typically remains quiet, preferring to sit in her thoughts. Around those she knows well and trusts, though, her competitive side may start to show, as the volume of her voice and argumentative tendencies start to increase.

Biography: Lorelei was born and raised in Bath, to a muggle mother and a wizard father. Her father works a demanding high up job at the ministry, and it was decided by her parents that the best choice for Lorelei and her younger sisters, Surena and Maisie, was for them to live in the muggle world with their mother. It was a somewhat unconventional system, but no one really believes a child when they share that their dad is magic, and by the time the children got old enough to be believed, they understood well enough the importance of discretion. Although Lorelei didn't spend too much time with her father growing up, some of her fondest memories were when he would come home and mesmerize her with displays of magic and tales from his time as a kid at Hogwarts. In between visits, Lorelei lived life much as a muggle would. She danced ballet beginning at the age of two, and her hours of hard work in the studio are always evident in her poise and posture throughout everyday life. Although Lorelei has always had a friend group at dance, she felt perpetually out of place, as if "her people" were elsewhere.

First Instance of Magic: Lorelei attended a muggle primary school in England for her entire life. She would get herself ready in the mornings from a young age, to give her mother less to worry about in the busy hour before school began. Before her hair became curly during puberty, she used to brush it out and adorn it with butterfly barrettes on either side of her head. One morning, she dropped a barrette and, bending down to pick it up, was surprised to find its plastic wings flapping as it flew up and clipped itself into her hair. She rushed downstairs to tell her mother, and the two of them immediately sent a letter to her father with the whole story, and he was absolutely delighted by it.
