Hello! Nice to meet y'all!

My name is Saanvika Thota, and I'm really excited to be here! I'm muggle-born, and I'm part Indian part Scottish. I have my mom's blonde hair and blue eyes, and my dad's olive skin. You will always see me with a book in hand.

I prefer to be alone in the common room, but don't hesitate to say hi to me! I really enjoy Indian food, especially the street food, and I'm vegetarian. Another thing about me is that I'm REALLY messy. I have books stacked everywhere and everything's a mess. I tend to be quiet yet outgoing, and I love trying new stuff. My muggle friends used to call me a "Positive Polly."

Before Hogwarts, I used to be the topper in class. My family is really supportive, and they were so shocked to find out that I was a witch! My brother got so shocked that his mouth was as wide as a fly attracter! He begged me to let him touch my wand and he read all of my books. As they knew nothing about magic, they were so excited to hear about that, although finding an owl in the house is kind of scary for the first time!

My first incident of magic was actually really funny. This happened when I was 9 years old. I was on the balcony, practicing my new dance routine. I was really angry as I couldn't get that one singular step. I jumped, stomping my feet, when the wind caught me and gently dropped me on the roof. I was soooooo freaked out then.
