Name: Lauvei Cosette Weston
Height: 4'10
Hair: Brown and wavy, with blonde highlights
Skin: Tan
Eyes: Light Brown
Personality/Preferences: Lauvei has a warm personality, but can seem a little off-putting to others. She is never the first to speak, but once she starts talking, she will continue on and on. She is an avid lover of the arts, having spent a good deal of her childhood performing, writing, and drawing. Lauvei often says that if worse came to worse and she had to have a Muggle Job, she would be a museum curator so she is always surrounded by art. She also loves baking and fashion, because it's in these hobbies where she can create something for herself and others to enjoy. She also loves gardening and nature, as her parents had a talent with herbology and magical creatures. Despite her bad experiences with them, she has always been fond of the Jarvey. While Lauvei enjoys many things, she extremely dislikes sour foods, such as greek yogurt. She tolerates lemons and limes, but milky sourness is something she vows to never include in her recipes. She also dislikes liars and inconsiderate people. She considers them as blind to the real truth. Lauvei's strengths lie in the things that she loves, but she has also proven herself to be very psychologically aware. She can read people well and adapt to new environments quickly (despite her parents thinking otherwise). She also displays a strong moral compass and sense of integrity. But, with strengths always come weaknesses. Lauvei often finds herself indecisive in simple tasks such as what she will wear for any occasion. She also tries her best to avoid conflict, because she is afraid to hurt others in retaliation. In any environment, you can probably hear Lauvei singing or humming, as music is one of the only things that take up a considerable space in her mind. She also uses a lot of slang and terms she makes up in casual settings, but is found to speak very eloquently in learning environments.
Family Life/Origin: Lauvei was born in Colchester in January 2014 to her parents, Lainey and Feilim Weston. She also had a brother, who was two years her senior. She grew up in a very peculiar environment. Her mother was Maori, and her father was English. Even having spent a lot of time together, her parents never quite knew how to properly integrate both cultures in her life. They worked within the Ministry of Magic with her mother as an Herbalist and her father a Beast Division Liason. Both were quite talented within their respective fields. As one can imagine, her house was as if you lived in the woods. There were plants everywhere and creatures roaming about inside the house. This environment was not only Lauvei's home, but also her school. Her parents feared that adapting to a muggle school would cause a difficult transition into Hogwarts. Adapting to muggle life was also something they avoided, so her parents only enrolled her in minimal activities such as singing and playing in orchestras around town. Living around muggles, albeit fairly few, her parents never practiced magic outside their home, which initially confused her, but she learned as she got older.
FIOM: At around eight years old, there was an incident where a classmate mocked her singing during a choir rehearsal. From her extreme annoyance, the classmate was (accidentally) silenced and unable to speak for three weeks. Muggle doctors were baffled, as no damage was done to the boy's throat.
