Physical Description: Brown skin, dark brown eyes, wears hijab (so no description of hair) 4’7, slightly underweight, not by much. Has 3 moles/beauty marks on her face, a long-ish forehead, and slight dimples. The edges of her teeth are uneven and not pure white, but not yellow either.

Mental Description: Tends to be joyful and tries to be kind. The shock of being a witch had a bit of an effect on her, and she sometimes feels weirdly separate from her family. But then it also makes her think that anything is possible, so she has hope.

Biography: Lived in a quiet neighborhood in Maldives, (before moving to the uk—this happened when she was 7, and her sister 4. It was a pretty huge moment in her life seeing as she had to change it completely. It was something to do with her mum’s career, which she didn’t question at the time but later found out was so she could study at a famous college specialising in Psychology. ) Has 2 loving parents and a sister. She went to school, got great marks too. She always had a hope that magic might exist. But now she’s found out it does, it’s a bit difficult on her too. Before that, however, she had a typical muggle life. Until:

First Instance of Magic: accidentally blasts her sister in a moment of rage. Her sister went FLYING. In the moment, Irma was so shocked that she completely forgot to check on her sister, and Mirabel was much later discovered on the top of a closet. (Oops). This took place when Irma was 10, and Mirabel 7. Perhaps a bit of a late bloomer but a sure witch nonetheless.
After that, her sister, Mirabel, was a bit scared of her, and the fact that she was probably muggle didn’t help things. In fact, it just added salt to the wound.
Her parents were pretty supportive, but acted a bit wary around her. She ended up feeling pretty lonely but excited for Hogwarts.
