Born to an English mom and an Indian dad, I grew up not knowing anything about magic or wizards. I had a pleasant childhood, filled with friends, loving family, and a normal financial situation.

Growing up in the Bath Countryside, filled with lush green meadows, all kinds of farm animals, and a kind family to go with it- my temperament and character tends to be calm and calculated, with no sudden outbursts, ability to shake of insults, seeing the funny side of things. In a tense situation, Most of the time, I tend to be the voice of reason.

I experienced the first instance of accidental underaged wandless magic, at the age of 10, when few of my friends and I were going around the countryside playing our usual games. One of my friends, who loved climbing trees, climbed up a 'Beauty-of-Bath' Apple tree to fetch us some, when he slipped and was about to fall head first on the ground, when he suddenly stopped in thin air- and landed softly. His life was saved, and everyone was stunned, but I felt it within me that I had caused it because I imagined him stopping right before he hit the ground.

I, of-course, never shared this with anyone, because I was scared that people might think I was going mad. But then everything changed when a man wearing robes and a hat uncommon to our parts of the country knocked on the door, with a letter in his hand, and explained everything!
