Punhara has dark hair that curls at the ends, a little past her shoulders. Her skin is brown and has a deep tan to it. Her dark eyes are framed by grey glasses and she has a single strand of green hair which she dies with her mom's help. She's quite short and slightly stocky.
Punhara is smart. She is also quite cunning, always first in her class if she can help it. She particularly likes potions, and adores reading. She can seem rather rude and snooty at first but can be very charming when needed. She is rather proud.

Punhara comes from a pure-blood family, with both her parents having attended Hogwarts. They are from Sri Lanka and are one of the oldest magical families there. Her father was a Slytherin and mother a Ravenclaw. She has a good relationship with her parents and fights a lot with her younger brother. She has lots of friends, some very influential but they don't know much about her as she is obscure. She is a typical all-rounder, with awards in sport and studies.

Punhara was five when she had her first encounter of accidental magic. She had wanted to attend a bubble party but couldn't as her parents had forbade it. So when she was crying, bubbles started to spin around her as each tear touched the ground. Ever since then, she has had a few accidental bits of magic but otherwise kept it under control as she grew.
