Born February 14th to Shane and Marie Walsh, Terry had always known he was a bit different. His mother walked out on the family only a few months after the boy's birth, leaving Shane with the world on his shoulders. He was an excellent father, putting up with Terry's differences and health problems with ease and still somehow managing to keep a job in the London Scotland Yard office.

Terry was raised in the suburbs of London, in a two bedroom house near a small park that he frequented. Being with out his wizard parent, he never really understood how he managed his little tricks and why things just seemed to happen around him. He first noticed his differences when he was but five years old and found his favourite plant in the back garden dead. It was just with a touch that Terry revived the plant to a vibrant green, life filling its leaves and petals. From then on, whenever he had a strong emotional reaction, there would always be a small burst of magic. Pictures would be knocked off the walls, pillows thrown, items summoned to him... It was slow going, but Terry learned how curb the random happenings, and even start making them work for him.

The letter from Hogwarts came as a complete shock. Terry had always just figured he was a freak, and his father had never been sure what to think. The first letter was thought to be a strange sort of prank. It was quickly dismissed and forgotten about, thrown in the rubbish bin while Terry got ready for his day with the child minder. It was only when the next day, a large owl tapped on their window and pointedly deposited the letter on Terry's breakfast that he began to wonder if maybe there was something to the letter.

He's on the shorter side, thin and agile, with a charming smile and quick whip wit. He has a terrible tendency of letting his smart mouth get him into trouble. While he may never finish any of the fights, he sure gives the antagonists a run for their money.

With his light brown curly hair and shining blue eyes, he's the spitting image of his father. There's a small patch of darker skin on his left cheek which was apparently a birthmark his mother had also possessed. He also has a bright red splatter birthmark across his sternum, with small smatterings of red on his collar.

Terry is an incredibly loyal boy and perhaps just a tad naive. He will absolutely trust you until given a reason to turn away. He judges people based on their actions and by nothing else, believing in a truly fair system.
