Mental Description:
Garnet is quiet and reserved but full of ambition. Though they aren't the loudest in the room, their intelligence and wit keep them one step ahead. They don't make friends easily, but when they do, they keep them close and viciously defend them. Garnet doesn't have the patience for people who can't keep up with them and will make their impatience and anger known if pushed.

Biography: Living in Galway since they were born, Garnet grew up knowing all the side streets and alleys in their town. As soon as Garnet was old enough to open doors, their parents took them on trips around town, teaching them all about the city around them. Their older brother, Anthony, was tasked with watching the young Garnet when their parents were at work, and they spent most of their days playing and fighting with each other until their parents came home. Anthony and Garnet became very close due to this, and Garnet grew up very loved.

When Garnet turned 7, they had their first instance of magic, and everything changed for them. A strange bloke came to speak to the small Muggle family and explained that Garnet was special. The official explained about the wizarding world and that Garnet was a wix who needed to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to master their magic. At first, Garnet's parents didn't believe the strange man, but after he proved magic was real by casting a spell, they acquiesced and agreed to let Garnet attend the strange school when they became of age.

The next four years were hell for Garnet as they waited to be old enough to start their magical life. They couldn't tell anyone about their magic; only the family knew about their abilities, but they did their best to excel in the Muggle school they attended until it was time. Their brother became jealous of their magical ability, causing their relationship to become more volatile. They fought all the time, and, eventually, Anthony was sent off to a boarding school to separate the warring siblings.

By the time of their 11th birthday, Garnet was chomping at the bit to get to the castle and begin her life as a wix. Their parents took them to Diagon Alley, which was a challenge to find due to her parnets being Muggles, and Garnet got their first taste of magical life. After they bought everything needed for their first year, Garnet just had to wait a month until they would board the Hogwarts Express and begin their real life as a member of the wizarding world.

First Instance of Magic: When they were 7 years old, Garnet and their older brother Anthony were playing in Garnet's room when Anthony accidentally broke Garnet's favorite toy. Enraged, Garnet began yelling at their brother, and, while they were unleashing their fury, the wind picked up inside the room. The more they screamed, the more the tempest blasted through the room. Before long, there was a mini windstorm raging in their bedroom. When Anthony cried out in panic, their parents ran in, and the storm stopped suddenly.
