Physical Description: Josh is a shorter than average, pale 12 year old boy. He has pin-straight, slightly over-grown, ebony brown hair and hazle brown eyes.

Mental Description: He is kind-hearted, ambitious and witty. He is also very shy and cautious, but warms up to people after getting to know them and trusting them. He is afraid of rats, bats, snakes, frogs and spiders. He strives to be a powerful wizard and to prove himself a great sorcerer because of his muggle-born background. He loves video games, and will play on my console any chance he gets. He also loves history, magic, and chess.

Biography: Lives with his grandparents, mother, father, and two younger sisters. Switched muggle primary schools three times by the time he was 11. Had trouble making friends due to constantly switching schools. Has two pet dogs.

First Instance of Magic: When he was 10 years old, he got his first ever gaming console. He kept it on the top shelf of his wardrobe, carefully using his parent's stepladder to put it there in the mornings before school, and retrieve it after school. He did this because his sisters had a history for breaking stuff by accident; mugs, plates, phones, and toys. One day, he came back from school and found it at the bottom of his wardrobe, shattered. He immediately knew what happened. He was angry and heartbroken as he stood over the pieces of a console his parents made him wait two years to get. He was hysterical with tears, and was crying so loudly that his mother rushed into the room to see what had happened. He explained what had happened in repetitive sobs, his hands over his face. After he finished, she spoke in a confused and impatient voice, telling him there was nothing wrong with his console and lecturing him about crying for no reason. He started arguing back, telling her about the shattered pieces on the floor, but when he finally stopped rubbing his eyes and looked down, his console was perfectly fine, looking as if it was brand new.
