Physical Description: Charlotte is a short girl, about 1.40m tall at the age of 11. She has blue eyes - the kind that change depending on the light. Sometimes they're grey-ish, other times they take on warmer tones, but most often they are a sea-green colour. She has a small button nose, and thin lips that are often a little red, and nicely aligned teeth. Her complexion is quite pale, but she has rosy cheeks when she stands in cold winds for a while. She has dark eyebags, as she's always had trouble sleeping. She's a little chubby, given her love for food, but is overall a healthy kid. She has unruly dark brown hair, wavy in some parts, a little curly in others, and usually straight in the fringe. Her hair is usually mussed by the wind, giving her a bit of a haphazard appearance. She uses round glasses to compensate for her awful lack of long distance sight - she really cannot live without them.

Mental Description: Charlotte is an excited, friendly, and curious 11 year old girl, who likes to believe people are more likely to be good than bad. She tries to make friends everywhere she goes, but she is also independent and a little lonely, as she is used to being an only child. She can come across as aloof but only because she's very easily distracted, or extremely concentrated on whatever it is she's focusing on at that moment. She can also be a bit of a diva sometimes. She as a strong personality, and most times won't let anyone walk over her or do as they please if it harms other people. However, as a lonely 11 year old, she is also desperate to make friends, not always realizing some people may not be the best to be friends with. However, she quickly realizes if that is the case. Either way, she can have people she hangs out with more, but she is a free spirit - she can hang out with different groups of people, or decide to be by herself that day, and will do so without causing people to dislike her. She often gets distracted day dreaming, has a bit of a short attention span, but also quick to catch on and a quick learner as well. She likes sports, but she's not the best at them - though she has tons of fun! She's most excited for Flying Lessons, Defense Against the Dark Arts in third year, and Charms. She is also loyal to her friends and family, and will do her best to protect them if she knows they can't do it. But above all, she considers herself to be selfish to a default - she avoids getting in trouble if there's a possibility that things may go awry for her - so, she simply doesn't get caught. She is smart and cunning, has a way with words so teachers trust her - and this trust isn't entire misplaced! She is a very good girl at heart, but everyone needs to be a bit rebellious at times. She'd rather be in people's good graces than not, as this kind of social circle can eventually help her if she needs it. She loves reading (fiction or not) and learning, though at muggle school she wasn't a huge fan of studying, as most themes bored her or were rushed by the teachers. However, in Hogwarts, she will easily be a good student if she has some discipline - which isn't always easy, as Charlotte loves to be all play and no work sometimes - she's a bit lazy, but she also has the outstanding capacity of catching on quickly, or, for example, finishing up homework or a project on top of the knee, and pass with flying colours.

Biography: Charlotte is a half-blood witch - her mother is a witch who works in the Ministry of Magic as part of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement; her father was a muggle who left her mother even before Charlotte was born. She knows him, but doesn't really talk to him much. She had quite a normal childhood. She lives with her mother and grandmother, who is also a witch, but who wanted Charlotte to know the other reality - the muggle one. As such, Charlotte went to muggle kindergarden and school. She got along well with her classmates, though they made fun of her for being weird, chubby, and just overall different. However, she managed to make true friends along the way, and didn't let herself get down because of what other people thought.

First Instance of Magic: When Charlotte was 8, she was going down the stairs of her house, distracted by something outside the window, when she missed her step; instead of falling down the stairs, the stepts turned into a ramp, and she slid all the way down. When she looks up, laughing, her mother has her hands on her head in worry, while her grandmother joins in and laughs along with Charlotte.
