She had long wavy brown hair that fell down her back, usually left open no matter the weather. In sunlight, her light brown eyes had little golden flecks hidden in them that almost looked amber. One day out of boredom, she dyed parts of her hair purple herself. The color came out uneven in some places, but she liked it that way.
She was more of a quiet person, someone who stayed to herself most of the time. Around people she didn’t know well, she spoke softly and rarely tried to be the center of attention. But once someone got close to her, it was different. She could talk for hours, laugh loudly, and become surprisingly outgoing. Even though she was gentle, she wasn’t the type to let people walk over her. If she needed to stand up for herself or someone she cared about, she would.
Most of her time was spent reading while listening to music, sketching random things in notebooks, and writing stories she rarely showed anyone else. She loved long walks, especially in quiet places surrounded by nature, because she liked the peace of it. Animals had always been a huge part of her life, and her house was full of pets she adored.
The first sign of magic appeared because of one of them. She was nine and one of her cat’s toys had broken, and while her parents were about to throw it away, she reached toward it without thinking. The toy suddenly lifted into the air and flew out of reach before anyone could touch it.
Her life before hogwarts is what many would call ordinary. She lived in a cottage with her parents and her younger brothers who she loved very much. School was a daily routine for her along with playing a physical activity that she was forced to play at first but now loves. Dancing. Dancing has been a part of her live forever , whether it was alone in her room or in the living room with her family.
